In addition to our expertise in credit insurance, we provide specialist services in the form of APIs for our intermediaries, B2B e-commerce payment facilities, digital marketplaces and automation of account receivables. We also partner with fintech providers to offer a better experience for businesses while they trade.
The solutions can bring added value to different key processes such as monitoring, onboarding or trading. For example, with a B2B online shopping platform we can support due diligence between new sellers and buyers, and assess their creditworthiness on the spot. Trade platforms
Atradius and Kemiex
Kemiex is a Swiss-based online sales platform for raw materials, specialising in pharmaceuticals, veterinary food and feed. Our collaboration enables Kemiex customers to access insights into credit risks with potential trading partners on the platform, and to insure transactions immediately with single invoice credit insurance.
Our strategic cooperation with Kemiex dates back to 2018, when we co-developed an innovative trade credit insurance solution for a raw materials and chemicals trade platform operated by Kemiex.
Single transaction credit insurance (STCI), available via the platform, is an additional service for sellers of bulk volumes that do not have credit insurance in place.
Enabled by smart algorithms and big data analytics, the new technology determines the insurance premium to cover proposed payment terms, allocates the capacity until a buyer confirms a transaction and manages post-trade procedures with the credit insurance.
